The purpose of the support is to cover the expenses related to market research and market entry activities of the companies operating industrial and / or commercial activities and cooperation organizations in the country from the Support and Price Stability Fund (DFIF).
- A) International Market Research Support
- Within the scope of the support, expenses related to overseas market research trips made by companies engaged in industrial and / or commercial activities are supported at a rate of 70% and up to a maximum of USD 5,000 per overseas market research trip.
- Within the scope of a market research trip abroad, the following expenses of up to two company employees are supported.
- Transportation: Economy class plane, train, ship and bus tickets used in international and intercity transportation, and car rental expenses up to $ 50 per day.
- Accommodation: Accommodation (bed + breakfast) expenses up to $ 150 per person per day
- A maximum of ten overseas market research trips are supported per company per calendar year.
- A minimum of two days of the overseas market research trip and a maximum of ten days excluding roads are supported
- During the overseas market research trip, every day, excluding the travel and official holidays of the destination country, at least one institution, organization or company residing in the research country should be interviewed. Travel and accommodation expenses are not supported for the days without meeting.
- A maximum of two overseas market research trips to the same country are supported in a calendar year.
- A market research trip abroad can be done in a single country or in a maximum of three countries.
- B) Report, Foreign Company and Trademark Acquisition Support for the Company Residing Abroad
- Expenses related to financial and legal consultancy services for the acquisition of companies residing abroad, as well as the expenses of the sector, country, companies residing abroad or brand-oriented reports purchased for the purpose of establishing market entry strategies and action plans for companies and cooperation organizations abroad, 60% or companies, 75% supported for collaboration organizations and up to a maximum of $ 200,000 per year
- Expenses related to financial and legal consultancy services for the acquisition of companies residing abroad that have advanced technology and will provide technology transfer are supported at a rate of 75% for companies and up to USD 500,000 per year.
- 5 points for Turkish Lira loans and 2 points for foreign currency loans and foreign currency indexed loans are supported up to USD 3,000,000 in total for the acquisition of companies residing abroad that have advanced technology and will provide technology transfer.
- The loan interest expenses used in the purchase of the brand owned by the company residing abroad and whose criteria are specified in the Circular are supported by 5 points in Turkish Lira loans and 2 points in foreign currency loans and foreign currency indexed loans up to USD 2,000,000 in total.
- The amount of interest support cannot exceed 50% of the interest expense paid.
- Interest support is given to 5-year interest payments from the first interest payment date.
- C) Sectoral Trade Delegation and Procurement Delegation Programs Support
- Under the coordination of the ministry, expenses related to sectoral trade delegation programs organized by cooperation organizations are supported by 50% and up to $ 100,000 per program, expenses related to purchasing delegation programs are supported by 50% and up to $ 75,000 per program.
- The following expenses are supported within the framework of the sectoral trade delegation and purchasing delegation programs organized by the cooperation organizations:
- Transportation: Economy class plane, train, ship, bus ticket used in international and / or intercity transportation for a maximum of two persons from a company / cooperation organization in sectoral trade delegations and a maximum of two persons from an invited foreign company / organization in procurement committees and Car rental expenses for public transport.
- Accommodation: Accommodation (bed and breakfast) expenses of up to two persons from a company / cooperation organization in sectoral trade delegations, and two persons from one invited foreign company / organization in procurement committees, up to USD 150 per person per day.
- Promotion and Organization Expenses:
- Translation expense.
- Rental expenses of seminars, conferences, meetings and bilateral meetings.
- Expenses related to fair participation.
- Visual and written promotion expenses.
- Public relations service expense.
- Transportation costs of the products to be exhibited.
- A preliminary committee may be organized by the cooperation institution to coordinate the activities in the approved sectoral trade delegations. Transportation and accommodation expenses of two persons assigned abroad within the scope of the preliminary delegation (collaboration organization employee / delegation participant company partner / employee) are supported within the limits within the scope of this article.
- If the sectoral trade delegations are directed to target and priority countries determined by the Ministry, the support rate is increased by ten points.
- D) E-Commerce Sites Membership Support
- Collective membership expenses to e-commerce sites are supported by 80% for cooperation organizations.
- For each company involved in the application for collective memberships, cooperation organizations are supported with a maximum of USD 2,000 per year per e-commerce site.
- In order for cooperation organizations to benefit from collective membership support, at least 250 companies must be included in the application. However, the cooperation organization may request to add a company following the applications approved under this paragraph. The membership expiry date of the previously approved group is taken as basis in determining the subscription expiration date for the support companies.
- Collaboration organizations can benefit for up to 5 e-commerce sites.
- For the same site, a maximum 3-year membership of the companies included in the collective membership applications is supported.
