DETAILS
The purpose of the support is to create and disseminate the culture of design and innovation in Turkey, and to cover the expenses related to the promotion, advertising, marketing, employment, consultancy expenses of the designer companies / design offices and cooperation organizations, the expenses related to the units they will open abroad and the design to be carried out by the companies in order to develop high value-added products for foreign markets and the expenses related to product development projects from the Support and Price Stability Fund.
- A) Supporting Designer Companies:
In order for designer companies to be recognized and branded abroad;
- Promotional expenditures specified in the circular to be made for abroad units, at the rate of 50% and a maximum of USD 300,000 per year
- Installation / decoration costs and concept architectural studies at a rate of 50% and a maximum of USD 100,000 per year,
- Gross rent expenses and consultancy expenses regarding the leasing of these units and tax / duty / fee expenses at the rate of 50% and a maximum of 200.000 USD per year,
- Expenses related to patent, utility model and industrial design registration and registration, renewal and protection of its trademarks abroad at the rate of 50% and a maximum of 50,000 USD per year,
- The gross salary of designers and modelists employed is 50% and a maximum of USD 150,000 per year,
- In order to increase the competitive advantage in international markets, the expenses related to the consultancy services specified in the Circular are supported by 50% and a maximum of 200.000 USD per year.
- B) Supporting Design Offices
In order for design offices to be recognized and branded abroad;
- The promotional expenses specified in the Circular to be made abroad by the units to be opened abroad, at the rate of 50% and a maximum of 150.000 USD per year
- Installation / decoration costs and concept architectural studies at a rate of 50% and a maximum of 50.000 USD per year,
- Gross rental expenses and consultancy expenses regarding the leasing of these units and tax / duty / fee expenses at a rate of 50% and a maximum of 100.000 USD per year,
- Expenses related to patent, utility model and industrial design registration and registration, renewal and protection of its trademarks abroad at the rate of 50% and a maximum of 50,000 USD per year,
- The gross salary of designers and modelists employed is 50% and a maximum of USD 200,000 per year

- C) Supporting Cooperation Organizations
- Visual and written promotion expenses to be incurred by cooperation organizations in order to establish and disseminate the design culture and to promote, market and brand Turkish designers and their products in domestic and foreign markets, participations and organizations of exhibitions, biennials, design fairs and design contests as well as the expenditures related to the promotion, advertising and marketing activities of these activities are supported at a rate of 50% and a maximum amount of USD 300,000 per project.
- The expenses to be incurred by the cooperation organizations regarding the education expenses of up to sixty designers who are ranked in the design competitions organized by the cooperation organizations and the living expenses to be incurred, provided that they do not exceed USD 1,500 per month, are supported for a maximum of two years.
- D) Supporting Design and Product Development Projects
For design and product development projects covered by companies within the scope of the Communiqué,
- The gross salary of the designers, modelists and engineers employed is a maximum of USD 1,000,000 in total,
- Tool, equipment, material and software expenses up to 250.000 USD in total,
- The expenses related to travel and website membership are supported at a rate of 50% on a project basis, with a total of up to USD 150,000.
- Maximum one project of a company is supported.
- A maximum of two of the hired designers may be foreigners.
- The expenses of the companies operating in the ship and yacht sector related to the design service they will receive from the companies located in Turkey are supported by 50% for 5 years, up to a maximum of USD 200,000 per year.
