By fearlessly against the difficulties experienced in Turkey, who came as a refugee industrialists, Shamma, while selling that delight both domestically as well as Russia, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and has exported to Dubai. Shamma, who produces special delights by adding Syrian spices to Turkish delight, aims to raise her brand to a global level. Stating that she had great difficulties in this success story, Shamma stated that she preferred to struggle instead of sitting down with life.

"THE UNITED NATIONS SUPPORTED ME"

I realized that I was talented in this field when I started to produce special Turkish delights by putting spices belonging to our own culture, and Turkish delights that were not made before. After I improved myself professionally, I heard that the United Nations gave grant support. I learned that there are women entrepreneurship grants. I expressed myself by throwing my idea, my goal and the slope I took on my talents and writing them down. So the United Nations decided to support me.

" I HAD VERY DIFFICULTIES IN THIS SUCCESS STORY

Saying that she bought some of the machinery and equipment to be used in production, Shamma emphasized that she heard about the Women Entrepreneurs Support Center, which was opened in partnership with the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry and the Metropolitan Municipality and İpekyolu Development Agency. Stating that the project application to KAGİDEM was accepted, Shamma said, "I have had a great business opportunity. I have now established my own business as a woman entrepreneur. I have experienced some difficulties. I am currently manufacturing my production, although I have problems such as banking and work permits. I felt confident. With the support of many Syrian and Turkish women, I established my company by helping each other, hand in hand. I had a lot of difficulties in this success story. However, I preferred to struggle instead of being dismissed and retreating to one side, "she said.

"I HAVE BEEN AN EXAMPLE OF TURKISH AND SYRIAN WOMEN AROUND" Adding that she was proud when she saw that he received fruit at the end of his struggle and that her efforts yielded results, Shamma said, "I set an example to the Turkish and Syrian women around me. I was shown as an example. This made me incredibly happy and proud. We are now producing Turkish delight. We have our own special products and formulas. We make special productions. In this context, we had customers in Antalya, Konya, Istanbul and Izmir. Our products are very popular. The corona virus outbreak affected us negatively, but we did not reduce our employment despite this. We have always given each other strength. We also sent our products to Russia, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. We aim to export to America. Last week, we also attended the World Food Food Fair in Istanbul. Despite the negativities, we strive. Our next goal is to ensure women's solidarity. Hand in hand with Turkish and Syrian women. I believe that if we are one fist, we will overcome all these difficulties if we fight together. I aim for Tat Global to become an international brand. "

"OUR EXPORT TO ABROAD INCREASES EVERY DAY"

Mechanical engineer Mehmet Salih Şikan, who worked with Shamma, stated that Shamma is a very entrepreneurial woman who is constantly trying to improve herself. Stating that Shamma shared his project with him, Şikan said, "We also supported his idea. She also had some capital. She then believed that she could bring the business idea to life together with the Women Entrepreneurs Center. We established our own Turkish delight factory by weaving knot by knot together. We send Turkish delights that we produce domestically and abroad. We can produce 2.5 tons of Turkish delight per day. As it is now a pandemic period, orders have decreased. We can currently use 30 percent of our total capacity. In this context, we have a commercial network within the country. We got new customers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Iraq and Qatar at the fairs we attended. "As the effect of the epidemic decreases, our exports abroad are increasing day by day."
